Science fair is an educational opportunity that encourages students in grade 6-12 in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education. Science fair teaches all students critical thinking and project planning skills.

We need about 275 judges and 50 more volunteers to help at the annual Twin Cities Regional Science Fairs held on February 24-25, 2017, in the Field House of the University of Minnesota. Please register as a volunteer on our website or call or email for more information.

We need the most help on Friday, February 24, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. in any time blocks you can give! Judging projects is on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4-9 pm. We need volunteers to help with the registration table, stuffing envelopes, score entries, and more.

We need help handing out materials to the students both on Friday from 1:00-4:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:30-9:50 AM at the student registration table area. Please see our Volunteer Schedule page for the complete list of our needs.

We have additional volunteer opportunities available in addition to the dates of the fair. Please Contact Us if you are interested.
